Pinterest Introduces Ability to Pin Videos and Google Launches Penguin 2.0

Pinterest’s Video Pins

After the useful pins update, Pinterest stepped up to the podium again with the introduction of the ability to pin videos. In an announcement last week, the ‘pins’ site said pinners will now be able to pin videos too on the site.

You can use the Pinterest ‘Pin It’ button on both YouTube and Vimeo to pin videos. You can also view videos pinned by other pinners using the ‘Videos’ button in the ‘Categories’ menu.

With the digital world’s current leaning towards videos, this update from Pinterest is welcome.

Google’s Penguin 2.0 Update

The search engine has rolled another Penguin update last week. According to Google’s estimation, the update has affected about 2.3% of English language queries to an extent that users may note that difference.

The update has been rolled out completely. The roll out is world over in other languages too. The extent of Penguin’s impact will vary by language. Languages with more of webspam will see more changes.

SEO experts who want to know more about this Penguin update can check out this video by Google.
