Job Description

  1. Strategic Account Ownership
    • Own the strategic roadmap for assigned accounts in partnership with the VP and client leadership
    • Translate client goals into clear, prioritized initiatives with defined outcomes
    • Proactively identify opportunities, risks, and gaps before the client asks
    • Ensure initiatives are aligned to both the client’s GTM priorities and Position2’s delivery capabilities
  2. Client Leadership & Advisory

    • Lead strategic conversations, planning sessions, and quarterly reviews with confidence and clarity
    • Anticipate second- and third-order impacts of decisions across regions, channels, and teams
    • Challenge assumptions constructively while maintaining trust and long-term partnership
  3. Cross-Functional Orchestration
    • Act as the bridge between client expectations and internal delivery teams
    • Coordinate closely with strategy, creative, content, media, operations, analytics, and finance
    • Resolve friction early; ensure clarity on scope, timelines, dependencies, and ownership
    • Keep initiatives moving without escalation, drama, or hand-holding
  4. Execution & Program Excellence
    • Run complex, high-visibility initiatives end-to-end with precision
    • Establish and maintain operating rhythms: weekly check-ins, dashboards, initiative tracking, and retrospectives
    • Ensure delivery quality, consistency, and accountability across all workstreams
    • Create structure where needed without slowing teams down
  5. Communication & Narrative Discipline
    • Distill complexity into clear updates, decisions, and next steps for both clients and internal teams
    • Draft and refine briefs, status updates, executive summaries, and planning documents
    • Ensure messaging consistency across all client-facing assets
    • Bring calm, clarity, and confidence to high-pressure situations

Skills & Competencies

  • Type A personality with exceptional written and verbal communication; able to simplify complexity
  • Strong strategic judgement with a bias toward action
  • High analytical sharpness; comfortable interpreting dashboards and signals
  • Executive presence without ego, demonstrating confidence, composure, and credibility
  • Comfortable with pace, ambiguity, and evolving priorities

Critical for Success in this Role

  • Ownership, not coordination mindset
  • See around corners, naturally anticipatory
  • Operates with discretion, ownership, and accountability
  • Project Position2 in a positive and professional light
  • Confident enough to challenge; grounded enough to listen

Required Skills:

  • Hands-on marketing experience in a tech product/device firm (preferably in product marketing, incl. product launch, not just digital marketing)
  • Prior experience leading marketing programs or campaigns at the worldwide or regional level
  • Proven track record of driving marketing initiatives successfully
  • High English proficiency with exposure to US & Western Europe stakeholders
  • Has received Awards & Recognition for performance in a marketing role
