Job SummaryWe are looking for an HR Generalist to join our growing team based in Bangalore. This is a hands-on role, which you would enjoy if you like interacting with people and supporting them in their professional lives. This is an individual contributor role and you would be required to support to business on all matters that effect employees and their lives at Position2. Key responsibilities may include the following but not limited to.
Job Description
  • Supporting and assisting the HR Head in running various programs
  • Screen candidates and applications
  • Conduct preliminary interview and evaluate candidate potential
  • Help to expand and implement a recruiting strategy
  • Assist the Human Resources department in finding, reviewing, and selecting candidates
  • Find and attend career fairs to discover new talent
  • Responding to general inquiries about HR processes, policies and programs
  • Setup and assemble new hire paperwork, ensure employee files and paper work is always up to date and the relevant folders are updated
  • Coordinate and arrange for new hire orientation and other training programs
  • Maintain and coordinate on-boarding and off-boarding program
  • Coordinating the Buddy Program
  • Coordinate with Banking partner to get the salary accounts created for new hire
  • Ensuring all the HR related vendor bills are cleared within the time
  • Ensuring all workday entries are done accurately and timely with regards to hiring, transfer, exit or any employee life cycle change and data is always updated
  • Preparing dashboards and reports as per the requirement
  • Coordinating visa and immigration related documents
  • Making Training Programs Arrangements (e.g. Meeting Rooms, Stationary, External Venues)
  • Assisting and coordinating training programs for Bangalore, as and when required
  • Data entry, administration updates about new hires, terminations and org changes in Workday
Required skills
  • Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Human Resources and around 1- 4 years of relevant experience
  • Proven experience in a recruiting role
  • Must have superior communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to explore new ways of reaching potential candidates
  • Be personable and outgoing
  • Experience with digital recruiting platforms
  • Keen ability to evaluate candidates and determine if they may fit with the position and company
  • Folks who can join immediately or with less notice period is preferred
