|Job Description||Leads and directs the design and production of visual and audio materials and media used for advertising, broadcast, and web communications.
Oversees creation of art, photo, video, and layout design. Establishes and implements design and format standards and processes to produce consistent and high-quality results.
Selects any outside or contract vendors and approves and coordinates projects. Manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs.
Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Extensive knowledge of department processes.
Typically requires 6-8 years’ experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 3 to 5 years supervisory experience may be required.
Accomplishes work requirements by orienting, training, assigning, scheduling, coaching employees.
Meets work standards by following production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolving operational problems; identifying work process improvements.
Helps clients by answering questions and responding to requests. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and in professional organizations.
