About The Role

Position2 is looking for a passionate, ambitious and motivated Sales Lead to help drive growth of our B2B Marketing Analytics platform!

Our Marketing Agency is growing rapidly, serving hundreds of clients ranging from VC funded startups to Fortune 500 multinational firms. With that said, we are entering the SaaS arena with a full suite of integrated offerings to better support our clients, as well as free tools to add value to growing in-house marketing teams.

As our first sales leader, you will be responsible for defining, executing, and refining our B2B sales strategy, weekly reporting, as well as hiring & mentoring of additional sales staff. This role requires a builder mentality, the ability to identify and build out repeatable processes, and strong coaching and people development acumen. Also this person will act as a liaison between the Product, Marketing, and Customer Success teams to proactively fill and solve technology gaps for our customers.

About You:

  • 4+ years of experience in sales (SDR, AE, AM, etc) from prospecting to closing and feel comfortable running a full sales cycle and closing business
  • Proven track record of driving growth within the SMB and Mid-Market company segments
  • You have a GENUINE love of technology, with the ability to learn and communicate complex technical concepts with ease and passion
  • As THE sales leader you have a “Builder Mentality” and have built or are willing to build (show us you are ready to lead) a successful, scaleable, and repeatable sales processes
  • You have a ‘never quit’ attitude and work hard to achieve (and overachieve) your targets regardless of adversity… but you also do so with empathy and skill
  • You have HIGH EQ or Emotional Intelligence and have a strong coaching acument and have or/are ready to build out, lead, scale, and train a team
  • You can excel on your own and with a team, working to maximize impact through understanding the motivations of those around you
  • You are not afraid to make mistakes, and constantly looking for ways to learn and improve — we love the fail fast, learn faster mentality while ALWAYS keeping our customers first focus in mind
  • You are ready to show up, put in the work, and show us how you have build and lead before and how you will learn to create something bigger and better here

About The Role:

  • Learn, train, and tell us how to best communicate effectively the Arena Calibrate technology stack and help us define, drive, and share our value proposition with a technical B2B Marketing audience
  • You are curious and work with prospects, leads, and customers to understand their pains, their goals and challenges and show them how we align with them to create more productive and engaged opportunities
  • You will be CRUCIAL in establishing, executing, and refining Arena Calibrate’s B2B sales strategy and sales reporting which includes OWNING the sales roadmap, reporting and forecasting for your team and the company
  • Collaborate with our cross-function and GTM teams to develop new strategies to build our sales pipeline and grow our business using different tools, strategies, and approaches that you think will best position us in the market
  • You are able to balance strategies, execution, and the reactive work of responding to interested prospective users with a creative and proactive approach to identify new opportunities
  • You love using tools LinkedIn, Salesforce, and other prospecting tools to research accounts, identify key contacts, craft targeted messaging, and establish relationships
  • You are a master at Customer Discovery, you deliver Dynamic Demos, and you excite and delight with company solutions to new and existing customers
  • Once you prove your processes work, are scalable, and repeatable, you will own the recruitment, development, and growth of your high performing sales organization
